I agree. Much better than causes like Band Aid, Comic Relief and that.

    lol...there is always one!!

i agree in a fashion...... my bin lids will always come first with me and i understand that sentiment...........but if i am to raise my children in a correct fashion, i would like to think that it would be a good example to my own children to help other kids who maybe need it.............but i do prefer to help th u.k's kids i must confess.

whereas you would probably give Uncle Ken's stringa beads £36!?

Of course your own Kids come first, but if yours are happy and healthy, consider yourself blessed.
There are many kids and families who dream of a normal life, however boring that may seem.
If you can spare a few bob, it can make all the difference to those less fortunate.

By all means chuck em a few bob, but it baffles me a bit.
This country is on its arse. And many folk - elderly especially - are going to die this winter due to rising fuel bills again. So why dont we do a "adults in need" or "NMW factory workers in need"
And the worst part is watching a variety of multi-millionaires, on a TV channel WE pay for, asking US to donate, AGAIN..
I find it quite ironic, and slightly insulting.
Fcukin Wogan could give em a million and he wouldnt even feel a dent in his bank account..

Some of the stories are heart-breaking but highlight some very worthy causes, time to dig deep.

    Poverty my arse!
Children in need showing films of kids in "poverty" in this country, playing PS3 games on their 40" LCD tvs lazing on their leather sofa, but there's nothing in the fridge and the lads are wearing their big sisters hand me down school shirts.
I'll sort my priorities when these feckless parents sort their own.

The money also goes to support terminally ill children and kids with serious illness and special needs.
