Ricardo Vaz Te,:frown: no need for it at all, every tackle he went down like he had been shot by a sniper, rolling around until he realized the ref had either blown for a foul or was ignoring him.
I do not like it from opponents and I dont like it from our players.
He has plenty of skill and looks a very good player, but he dives all the time.

I hereby sit and wait for the Oracle to come and say I am wrong, as usual.

    Diving?

I would say he was a bit "dramatic", more of a drama queen than a diver.

He does seem to have the "collapsing legs syndrome" but this is how young players are coached in the Iberian Peninsula look how easy Barca players go over. Slightest touch and they are down.

Going off at a tangent, did anyone see Jay Mac slip in the first half? (think he slipped, didn't actually see him go down but the ball was nowhere near), and as he picked himself up Flitcroft motioned that he'd shot him. Made me giggle anyway :)

I does my box in, no reason to go down like that at all. Any player that does it should be sent to a sin bin, they would soon stop then.

Anyway, that is all the negatives over and done with. Great game, great performance. I am struggling to remeber Steele having to dive to make a stop, I know they had a clearance from near goal line but I cant remember anything else.

I agree and some of it was bordering on the pathetic but it makes a change barnsley having a player who falls over with a gust of wind given the number of times we have turned up at oakwell and seen it happen against us.

It's true that's how they are coached in that part of the world but, and this applies to all of these players playing in England, why do the managers not just tell them to cut it out? Vaz Te was getting a good reaction from the fans yesterday but you could see especially when he did it right in front of the ponty that folks were a bit miffed at him diving about like an idiot
