From Rob Statton on twitter "Barnsley not interested in Koumas but they are weighing up a move for a Premiership midfielder. Keith Hill wants a technician."

    My money's on Gai Assulin.

I hope we don't sign anyone

Midfield looked excellent on Saturday and we've still got Drinkwater to come back in.

And I wish we hadn't bothered with Nile Ranger. The front three of Davies, Done and Vaz Te were top drawer against Donny, plus we've got Gray coming back from suspension and Haynes finally getting back to fitness.

We had a real problem with injuries earlier in the season, but that's sorted itself out now, so I don't see the need for loan signings.

Keith Hill has done an excellent job of putting together a competitive squad on a shoe string budget. It seems he's built a great sense of camaraderie too. I'd prefer us to keep that closeness, that togetherness, that us against the world mentality and go with what we've got. Save some money too, which could go towards a permanent signing in January or next summer.

Never been keen on loads of loan players.

I reckon it will be a left winger

.........Vaz Te is not causing enough problems for defenders

    He did at the weekend.

I agree with Jay and we have RNL to come back into the squad, l dont think we need the loans of Ranger and Addison.

If a loan deal is to be made, hopefully it will be with a view to making it a permanent one in January. I'd love to see Drinkwater here on a full time basis, for example.

The more FIRE POWER we have the better.........for example....

..........who would turn Hammill down if there was a chance of getting him back at the club ???

Can you imagine the impact a player like Hammill would have with the current squad

Agreed, I don't think we need anyone else

Drinkwater's been brilliant this season but will struggle to get back in the team because you can't leave Butterfield or Perkins out tbh. Done had a decent first half and an exceptional 2nd half, Vaz Te for me was man of the match at the weekend, narrowly in front of O'Brien. Got to be those 5 for me every week. Then we Have Drinkwater and Doyle who could comfortably come in, Lovre's just coming back to fitness, and in terms of wide players, RNL is almost back and as a last resort Haynes out wide.

yup I agree with that ..January aint far away either

we can do ok with what we have and maybe look to a permanent deal for someone in January. We cannot be sure of keeping Drinkwater either on a loan or a perm, and Addison has not exactly set the fans enthusiasm on fire. So we may be having to look at two new players in January, loan or permanently. We also have two players out on loan ourselves..you never know they could come back much better for that and be added back to our squad.

Perkins is my favourite out of all Hill's signings.

Andrex man when fellow players get themselves in the sh ite hes usually there clearing up or Duracell man lasts longer than yer average midfielder just keeps on running.

    Nice on Shirley.

I'm not at all convinced by Vaz Te. For me he has all the attributes to be a top player but his decision making is poor. Watch his team mates reactions to some of the things he does. There were times on Saturday that he shot when he should've squared it, dribbled when he should have passed, tried a flick when he should've controlled it. I think he's slowly learning what Keith Hill wants, evidence of that was his tracking back on Saturday but I think he'll spend more time on the bench over the next few weeks than on the pitch. Loads of promise but there's much learning required first. As for him being man of the match on Sat, he got nowhere near the standard set by McNulty, Foster, Done and Perkins in particular imo.......

Thank god for that. Would much rather Assulin come in if anybody. Although I have said it before I think if we need anything it is another defender.

You have to take into account who we were playing Saturday I not sure you can play that midfield against many teams in this league, Drinkwater has not just been brilliant when he and Perkins were paired in the middle the season suddenly took shape. In my opinion you can't leave him out when available Hill has got some pleasant selection headaches ahead.

He even sprints off the field at the end of games like he needs a sh|t... noticed it the last few home games.
