I trust that all the people who have moaned about him previously and incessantly, and who are now singing his praises and eating humble-pie will continue to support him when we hit a rocky patch during the remaining 28 games.
Seems so - I know you've been behind him. Rome wasn't built in a day and nor will we be. Just hope the n'ersayers will now show a bit more patience and be less critical of a guy who has had a PLAN right from Day 1. Premiership Manager one day. Hope it's with us!!! ;0)
if we keep hold of him i can see us achieving great things. the article by hill in fridays yorkshire post is proving to be very poignant
I posted before the season started that I was quietly excited in a way that I hadn't been before, not in a we are going to win the league kind of way but excited that I believed in Hill and Flitcroft we had recruited two men that if left to do the job they would transform our club into something special, It will take time but in the short time they have been here I think we have seen a glimpse of what they are about. I think they will stabalise the club financially whilst serving up some nice football to watch and dare I say it, make us top 8 club on a regular basis.
Re:- Yeah because we really are storming the league. No we aren't, read my post, never implied that, we will survive this season, we will survive next season, we will become financialy stable, we will play nice football, I, repeat, I will be very satisfied if we are still in this division in 1,2,3,4,5 years time and playing the likes of Leeds, Weds, Thugs etc,etc off the park like today. This is what being a reds fan is all about, we are a small club punching above our weight, dishing out shocks to ''bigger'' clubs , like today, I love it , really love it. Looking foreward to next week, good day out in Stamford, 3 points from the posh and a b0ll0cking from the wife for coming home rat arsed sometime around Sunday morning, afternoon, whenever.
Re: - Yeah because we really are storming the league. Peterborough punching above their weight as well and Crystal Palace no need to fear anyone in this league top 8 is not beyond expectationbs.
Turn us into a middle of the table team instead of relegation candidates each season, turn over a profit each year, keep playing the excellent football, get the crowds back to the 12,000 average, and bring through the promising academy team we currently have and l'll be happy.
we may never achieve the big time again but we must aim for it..... whats the point in aiming for survival / mediocrity? hope this helps
Re: that is absolutely correct in my opinion ! We need to improve the reputation of the club as well, which Keith Hill has stated before in his interviews and hopefully this will be more appealing for potential buyers.
