just watched the video clip of his comments about the strikers ...its blatantly obvious to me he is taking the piss. You only have to look in his eyes and his mannerisms/body language to show its a hammed up joke. Harry Enfield has done similar if not worse stuff. Time some folk grew up..... or maybe we should just execute them an all.

It's like all them that were jumping up and down at the rumoured death of Thatcher last week, suddenly became sensitive.

Clarkson is renowned for his "flip" comments..kinda his trademark

he is second only to Prince Philip..and he has long since lost the awareness he is even doing it. No this is yet another case of PC gone mad.

Personally I think he should be shot for no other reason than he's a complete kn08 head who earns his money by making stupid statements about anything and everything. As soon as he appears on screen I switch channels.

They certainly do Dragon for the precise reason that I don't watch unfunny, unentertaing crap like him.

me too, what an insufferable t**t he is

the reaction by union leaders has, however, been a bit pathetic and done them more harm than good in my opinion

Yep, the best thing would have been to reply with a dismissive comment making fun of him, showing him up for what he is.

each to their own I guess

TBH I could not stand him too for ages, and Top Gear left me cold. But Nowadays I can take the guy and some top gear episodes have been good. When they tried to make a space shuttle out of a Reliant Robin was well funny. Clarkson is not all bad, he is a Founder Patron of the Charity "Help for Heroes" so the guy gets a huge thumbs up from me for that. Clarkson is in someways similar to the likes of Bernard Manning, Chubby Brown etc ...take him/them with a pinch of salt... he is a Yorkshire bloke too by the way, but a Pikey.

He does it to get a rise out of people. No doubt he'll have a new book out and it's time to get his name in the media again. He's not as clever ir funny as he he thinks he is, but people should be used to him by now.

he strikes me as the sort of person who would equate cleverness with how much money they've got in the bank

"Dave Prentis, general secretary of Unison, responded today saying: "Clarkson's comments on the One Show were totally outrageous, and they cannot be tolerated. We are seeking urgent legal advice about what further action we can take against him and the BBC, and whether or not his comments should be referred to the police"

    legal action....really????

I heard some woman they wheeled out on Radio 2 today liken his comments to Gadaffi inciting violence against his own people - what a load of absolute rubbish I dont know who is the more offensive/stupid Clarkson or her?

people just need to ignore him and dismiss his comments as meaningless rants which is what they are and what (I think) he intends them to be.

I think he's absolutely brilliant. I can't wait for Top Gear to come on BBC Canada each night. I've got a couple of his books too - really funny. Don't know what all the fuss is about with him. If you don't like him, don't watch him. Same with any tv show.

    As usual Dragon..........tha talks ***** !!!!!!!!!!

.........tha always on the attack..........is it because yer live so far from home or what.
Dont like saying it but over the years you have become worse and worse

Clarkson says things like he does to get publicity.............like us silly foookers on here even discussing such a simple ******* as him
And i have every respect for someone who makes good......my past posts on here will prove that
But but but.......who can relate to a guy who plays about with boys toys.........he's trying to be the biggest lad in the world of the daft lads.

Which grown up bloke on here finds driving fast cars interesting..............thats for teenage boys..........hasn't Clarkson foooking found women and beer yet

Plus the guy has a face like an ironing board wearing a busby

    what a load of cack!!!!

Clarkson is an odious slime ball.
What he said was disgusting, not the first time he has had a go at Public workers either.
He seems to forget where he came from and to try and belittle anyone that cant afford the cars he drives.
    Rant over.
