    Well. I don't watch him. I used to like Top Gear but I won't have the guy in my living room. I've only read what he said cos I detest seeing him so much. You might think he is joking when he spouts his claptrap but he isn't. Total ******.

    trouble with that is when they had a debate about disablement benefit etc. people were taking statements from the likes of him to heart
    and attacking people with disabled parking badges etc. he shouldn't be allowed to use his position to speak to an unsuspecting audience like the one show and preach his prejudices. what he thinks and says in private is another subject.

    People should know by now to take Jeremy Clarkson with a pinch of salt

    He's always saying controversial things, most of which he does to provoke a reaction, and more often than not, people bite. He purposely does it, and has been doing, particularly on Top Gear for several years. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

    Which just shows how pathetic the unions are

    Not the members, not the employees but those running the unions.

    He is CLEARLY taking the piss and giving two wildly polarised viewpoints to 'prove' that the BBC is balances, it is an obvious joke and yet these arseholes are either too stupid or too ignorant to understand this.

    Do the unions REALLY think that clarkson believes that he LIKES the strike because it reminds him of home (a good thing), that he LIKES the strike because of how easy it made london to get around but that he also hates the strike and wants everyone shot? Do they honestly believe that he thinks both opposite viewpoints?

    If they do then how can any public sector worker have ANY faith in their unions when they have proved themselves to be so thick and unable to see logic? Do they really want someone thrashing out a deal for them when that person doesnt have a logical bone in their body or an ounce of intelligence?

    Clarkson's a t*sser for sure, for pity's sake he's a middle aged man presenting a prime time show obsessed with fast cars. Say no more.

    However I suspect the ridiculously overblown reaction from the self-important and self-serving public sector TU chiefs exposes how thin they feel the ice they're skating on at the moment really is.
