He's part of the fabric at Oakwell. Their should be something to remember him by when he is no longer with us. A reminder of his commitment. As suggested, maybe stand naming or something along those lines. What do other clubs do to honour such legends? I do think it would be nice for him to get the recognition whilst he is still with us though so we all get the opportunity to show our appreciation too. Paolo
A big slap up dinner with as many managers and staff that he served under (alive and willing) attending.
Name one of the stands after him ,an executive box with pictures , memrobilia or maybe a statue outside the ponty end. Got to be something that's permanent.
Name the laundry after him! Better still, a testimonial at Oakwell, 97 team v a similarly decrepit Wednesday/United 11? Or just any old Reds who just show up with their boots. And knock up a commemorative t-shirt or summat, get him some dosh for his ahem, old age. Have it in the summer when we're starved of footy having been knocked out the euros first round!
Half time mass synchronised Rimming? I'm sure the blonde lass thats in sits in front of me would be up for it. Not sure about her dad. hope this helps
mmm don't know why that didn't work .... just type into youtube Must I paint you a picture billy bragg and don't be put off by the words billy bragg, it's great
Rimmo is a lgend and someone I have known all my life. For those who haven't spent any time with the man then I suggest you do. He was so funny that in the days of TFI Chris Evans personally asked for him on his show. There is no bigger Barnsley legend than Rimmo and a stand is the least the club can do
