More importantly ... ... How many types of animal have you loved? I reckon it's more than 10, but less than 15.
That's probably because he didn't mess it up. He had a really good career in which he became known as one of the worlds finest players. He played for a club that loved him and a country that adored him. He became one of the nations most recognisable people and a national treasure and an entire generation grew up wishing to replicate footballing moments created by gazza. Aye really messed up...
if league cup runner up and fa cup winner is a good career then in a Major league then there 21/22 year olds that could give up now. Thats not good Supertyke
Oh yes TM said that MM has no chance, but I'm not so sure. However sup t is coming up on the rails and you never know, the Big R always stands an outside chance
If Messi played with us he'd win nowt. It takes a team. So maybe you're suggesting his agent (if they had them then) cocked it up Or perhaps he should have mentioned his Brazilian grandma in the right quarters.
Let's not forget he virtually carried England single handedly to a world cup semi final and we only lost out on a penalty shoot out. How far did Gary Neville get us?
Re: More importantly ... Not really. I am assuming most animals were smart enough to fend him off pretty quickly. I heard he was sticking it to a fur rug for almost three whole minutes. Does that count?
Premier League (4) : 2006– 07, 2007– 08, 2008–09 , 2010–11 Football League Cup (2) : 2005–06 , 2009–10 FA Community Shield (3) : 2007 , 2010, 2011 UEFA Champions League (1 ): 2007– 08 here you go fella's, a proper career and hes only about 26ish.
plus when the dust has settled, who do we remember? The fullback who played for Arsenal and won numerous leagues and cups, or the bloke who etched unforgettable memories by virtue of his talent and personality on our footballing souls for both (any) club and country?
You appear to have missed off the bit about being a national hero, being idolised and being the object of a generation's footballing dreams. In your rush to polish your own silverwear over CR7's own silverwear collection you also seem to have missed the bit about him having moments that millions of people have grown up wishing to emulate (look it up) I wish I had a football career as messed up as Gazza's
Thankyou for demonstrating my point exactly. Gazza = Memorable moments, idolised, admired, loved Your guy = meaningless numbers
redmond of Brum said that Nani and Ashley young was is hero recently so in 10/15 years people will say the same about him who actually WON things. drinking celebration OR someone who actually won things
