I wouldn't say dropped..as anyone knows he's been one of our best players..I'd say Hill doesn't want to burn him out...so he's resting him....lets face it..if we lose today it wont be a surprise who he picked..

why dont we just give them 3 points with that team! fekin hell keith. We won 5 out of 7 so why change it!!????

swap out 2 from 4 in back 4 (thought you didn't knee jerk react to one defeat)
put in addison whose got the turning circle of an oil tanker
drop fozzi whos been playing brilliant
drop obrien whose been in top form and gives so much every week!

Ranger for me is still not at the races

Hope im wrong but cant see owt else but a thumping today. Im not normally negative but hes changed a settled team - which brings consistency!

Hopefully its for some fresh legs and give the likes of obrien a break butits gonna be hard now today!

You reds!!! Come on and prove me wrong.

O'Brien looked absolutely exhausted in the second half against Ipswich - I'm glad he's having a rest ahead of the busy christmas period and yorkshire derbies .

Re: o'brien 1 bad game dropped poor.

The only change I would have had a question mark over was leaving Foster out for Edwards. I love Sir Bob but I don't think he's played that well in the last few games at all, and O'Brien looked knackered to me last week - we have 3 games in 7 days over Christmas that are far more winnable than this one in any case.

West Ham are a big team, and by that reckoning, I understand Addison and Ranger's inclusions. I'd have been tempted to give Haynes a start rather than Ranger, but I do think a lot of it is down to the height of the opposition and trying to avoid being physically bullied like we were by Ipswich in the 2nd half.

In Keith I trust, regardless of what happens today.

It's done nowt for our marking at corners

If Hill wanted to bring in Edwards I'm surprised he left out Foster. I thought McNulty was all over the place in the second half against Ipswich. He wasn't alone like, but for my money he was the weakest link in defence.

Yeah, a bit of an experimental line up (with more strength and height). Some players obviously a break. Addison and Ranger both need games.

Re: o'brien 1 bad game dropped poor.

Hill might see this game as an odds on loss for us so he is experimenting and resting key players ahead of the xmas/new year matches. If we gain a point or a win from it, it can be seen as a bonus.
