Is Jesper Blomqvist better than Gazza? He won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League. What about Stephane Guivarc'h? UEFA Cup Golden Boot and World Cup winner.

He dare not say Yes, in case the answer is Gazza , lol. But he dare not say No because he has had a very good productive career! A bit of a dilemma for the lad from West Yorks!!

I'm surprised just how many still listen to radio Sheffield. On a non match day as well.
I only ever tune in for the odd 10mins driving home after a game, but only to hear our goals. Then it's back to Five Live.
Can't say I've ever heard this Brian the Blade folk talk of.

I'll take your Blomqvist and raise you Raymond Van Der Gouw who in his six years at Manchester United despite hardly ever playing won........

Premier League back to back in 1999-2000 & 2000-2001.

    FA Cup: 1998-99.

    Champions League: 1998-99.

Four very good trophies for him there. I always found it funny watching him celebrating with the rest of them with his winners medal for sitting on the bench.

Steve Ogrizovic won 5 honours with Liverpool, European Super Cup 1977, European Cup 1978, 1981 and Charity Shield 1979, 1980 yet only played 4 times for the scousers.

Were there no rules back then about having to play so many games? RVG would have won more if he'd played enough games. Think in the prem you had to be involved in ten games. I think he might have been brought on with about 5 mins to go one season so he didn't miss out on a prem winners medal :S
