    Have to say, the football pages look refreshed... Makes a nice change. Well done Matthew.

    Like the players input, and it's nice to see that the column which just rips off tales that have been posted on here has been removed.

    I like the new set-up. Not that I had any problems with what Lodgey used to do, he made a decent crack of it, but sometimes it's good to have some new blood and see fresh ideas.

    The Lodge family go back decades with that paper so I would say Andrew no longer being there is newsworthy to the people who buy the paper week in week out. Just because it's something within the newspaper shouldn't mean it's kept a secret.

    Always found Andrew Lodge to be spot on

    Nice chap, knew a lot more about stuff that went on than he was able to put in print.

    Improvements to Chron and removal of that ferret ***** notwithstanding.

    Have you ever thought that Lodge himself doesn't want to divulge the reasons? Nosey b'stards. Just because you buy the paper doesn't mean you have the right to know everything that goes on with it's staff.

    Well, now i've buttered you up ..... just a small request ..... if I send in a press release, complete with photos, and hopefully not much editing to do, relating to good news stories about people from Barnsley doing well in the world of disability sport, do you think there would be a chance of putting at least a snippet in the sports pages? had very little coverage in the past, in spite of numerous attempts. I'm sure the press releases aren't that bad.
