Of course it will happen again but that won't be anything to do with Kenny D just like what happened on Friday night was not his, or Gerrards or Liverpools fault. I can't believe you have got me defending a club I grew up hating but your views on this are very naive HT.

If hill, foster & cryne said sky tv was ruining football, your deeply held beliefs...

would lead you to think them wrong. Racists are the same, no respect for other people's opinions so they wouldn't take a blind bit of notice.

Best example i can use, do you get it now?

I see what you are trying to get at Phil, but you do it in such a mental way its hard to agree with.
And as already pointed out, can you honestly say in your time at Oakwell, you have never heard any racism? I hear bits and pieces regular. Its not big, its not clever, and should be continued to be fought against. And while I have agreed with Stan Collymore on twitter the last 24 hours, he's hardly a role model. Especially considering YOUR unique view of Paul Gascoigne..
Stanley's abuse on twitter made me sick tbh. Calling him 'Golly-More' and 'Coony-More' may be hilarious to some people, but to me its neither funny or acceptable. I have friends who are black, and some who are asian, and it would piss me right off, if when out with them, some neanderthal directed abuse of that nature at them. And remember, I was brought up in the 80's where a shop was a 'paki' shop, blacks and asians were 'coloured', and tbh, seeing a black man/woman was a rare event. But thats 20 odd years ago, and times change, and in the case of race, they changed for the better. We are all human beings. And unfortunately, racism for me, just conjures up a myriad of images/thoughts that make me shudder. Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, Auschwitz, the KKK, Rodney King, etc etc.
It makes me ashamed to be white in a small fashion. I think it was Dyson on ere, who a few months ago posted a letter from a black slave to his white 'owner/master', and that alone, made my head spin. Its just crazy to know that **** like that was the norm until recently in the developed world.
Anywho, am on my soapbox and will now climb off... :)

The point is I hear racist comments regularly amongst Barnsley fans but I don't hold Hill and the senior players responsible for it. I can understand what you're saying but it's a little unfair to say that Kenny and co will be responsible if it happens again. Also mate I wouldn't use Stan Collymore as a beacon of morality.
