CHRIS POWELL is signing striker Danny Haynes from Barnsley to boost Charlton's promotion chances. Haynes, 23, only joined the Tykes a year ago from Bristol City but is not in Keith Hill's plans at Oakwell
Will score goals for fun at that level, provided 1) he is played up front 2) he can be arsed I'm guessing that the two are mutually exclusive - play him up front and he will put a shift in and score goals, a la Donny and Blunts last season, play him on the wing and he will wander up and down all day, failing to either beat his man or put in a decent cross.
Number 2 may be a problem seeing as he's an idle git who has been stealing his wages for quite a while now. I have no time for players who won't put in a shift when they're on the pitch; it's the least they can do for their wages. For this reason I'll be glad to see the back of the idle waste of a shirt.
