I can guarantee they wont. We've adhered to them early and haven't got a pot to piss in, how are the likes of Bristol City, with a bigger wage bill and larger debt ever going to adhere to them.
They'd benefit us in the sense that it would reduce the amount of money other clubs spent and make it a more level playing field. Can't see it ever coming in and being enforced though.
Think it would but I reckon something needs to be done, there's no way any other business would be able to sustain the sort of debts that some football clubs have run up. It's about time things were levelled up again.
I believe so. Much like when they were brought in to Rugby League and teams like Bradford/Wigan were not as good anymore after dominating for years, and teams like Warrington all of a sudden started doing well.
If it's a % it might reduce our actual budget. Won't happen anyway. But I applaud the club for wanting to break even.
Good point regarding the Rugby League and they do stick to the rules with teams having action taken against them if they do break them or they used to do if I remember right.
