Why does Hill use his pre-match conference to continually remind us that we are on a low budget compared to the rest. And little else? We've been in this league longer than Leicester, longer than quite a few, so how about we forget the money side and talk like we are on level football terms with all these city clubs? I want to read about the team not about Leicester's money. It becomes too much of an excuse too early. Even if we win he'll make a point of their millions when he praises the team. The intenet editor is of the same mindset as all their text inbetween quotes sucks up to Hill's guff. Keith Hill's Red and White Army!
He's the manager of the team, and he is stating the facts of the situation. We have many deluded fans. The facebook page has had fans calling for the signing of Jordan Rhodes this week ffs. He makes valid and relevant points. Reality check needed for some fans.
Probably so folk like you moan about him as the manager rather than getting on the players/a players back. Personally that's why I think he does it, deflecting the negativity of some sorts.
He certainly does have a rationale and strategy under all of the bravado and handling of the media/fans. I love him personally. It's entertaining.
Well its working and it's fecking great watching them at the minute but maybe you'd like Robins or Davey back.
The official match report all about money too. Yawn. Great result but forget about mentioning all that. McEveley pass I he season too!
Spot on funnyfella........ ......we have one of the best, or maybe the best management team in the Championship But why at every opportunity does Keef always talk about the lack of funds at the club. In my opinion, and i've said this before, its because he is shouting to the rest of football and especially football club chairman............ 'look at me winning at places like Leicester and i've got no money to spend at Barnsley, if you want me I can do a great job for you'. That is to say.........Keef is blowing his own trumpet in the hope that someone will come in and wisk him away to a place thats loaded
Yep. I'll post a link to prove it if I have to. Days after West Ham had a £4m bid turned down. Maybe that's why he fells the need to keep people grounded in reality.
Re: Spot on funnyfella........ For the reason I posted above maybe? Some fans are totally detatched from reality.
