On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent, how good was it.

I'm confused. It was a brilliant tackle that was as good as scoring a goal but on a scale of 1 to 10 it was only a 6/10 tackle and he was lucky that it went out of play because he made a right 'ash' of it

I've translated that as "He set Clarence on fire". Somehow I think I'm on the wrong track.

Nobody asked for his match rating.
You were asked to score his match saving tackle out of 10.

I meant he made some ash out of someone called Clarence. I supposed I might have misunderstood a bit.

Did he come away with possession of the ball or put it out into touch?

Yes, obviously "has" "clearence" "ash" FFS go back to school, that is if you ever went in the first place, or just learn to use spellchecker, it's not difficult . ..

Soz .... I'm ready for the argument that goes.... if McEverley was a two footed player, we would have drawn the game though.
