Sounded genuinely pleased with his team today, and quite right too. Must be easy being a football manager on days like this. I don't care how "poor" Leicester were (IF they were). This was a magnificent result and I wish I could have been there. I was there for the 2-1 FA Cup win a long time ago when Stevie Lowndes ran the length of the pitch to score and I bet those Reds fans there today felt similar emotions to those that we did on that day. If this team doesn't finish in the top half something serious will have gone wrong between now and April. I don't think that will happen this time though
In all my years of playing and watching football and cricket, the poor performance of the opposition was generally down to the quality of performance provided by the victors. When teams like Leicester have 'played poorly' against BFC, it's usually because we have been the better team and forced them in to mistakes.
ooh oh, someone who talks sense. Totally agree. You can only ever play as well as your opponent allows you.
His interviews are always excellent and I imagine his team talks are inspirational at times. I really enjoy listening to what he has to say.
