He bombs down the wing and he plays up front, he makes the keeper look a total lovely person! -Followed by- Ricardo oh-oh-woah-oh! OR Rico! Rico! Rico! Meh, I tried lol
Viva Ricardo...its the only one for him, heard a few in the Ponty trying to get it going but it takes a while for the "panel beaters" at the back to catch on, that lot can't even sing "When the Reds go marching in" at the right tempo! And your contains the "C" word, missus hates that, it wouldn't catch on!
We love Ricardo, Vas Te; We love Ricardo, Vas Te; We love Ricardo, Vas Te; Vas Te we love you. Even the "panel beaters" could probably cope with that, and not a profanity to be heard.
we've go the eye of the Vaz-te he's got the skill of the shot. rising up to the challenge of our rival. (to the tune of eye of the tiger) and the last known defender, isn't going to get in the way please feel free to finish the song of as i dont have a clue and somethign i never had the go at
Do we alwys have to have profanity in our songs? FFS. Ricardo, whoooa whoooa Ricardo, whoooa whoooa He comes from Portugal To play under Keef Hill Ricardo, whoooa whoooa Ricardo, whoooa whoooa Repeat til bored, or until he scores.
He plays on the leeeeeeft. He plays on the riiiiiiiiiight. Ricardo - Vaz - Te, made Leeds look *****.
I think Leicester away showed that Viva Ricardo should be his song. Was sung for ages, is catchy and finally we manage to adapt a well known tune to something meaningful. Long may it be sang!
Viva Ricardo sounded great at Leicester on Saturday and would sound even better with whole of the ponty end singing it!! VIVA RICARDO VIVA RICARDO
Running Down the wing hear the Ponty sing, Viva Ricardo, Viva Ricardo, Viva Ricardo. Nothing too confusing. Sounded good at Leicester on Saturday.
We were singing it in the boozer on saturday, with a couple of lads who'd been down. Simple yet effective.
Re: Panel Beaters Are you referring to the lot at the back who start a song (when it is deathly quiet in the Ponty) then a line or two in bang the back of the stand to get a beat going and keep the chant going a bit longer? The beat that adds something to the 'Red Army' and 'Keith Hill's Red and White Army' chants etc? Until the atmosphere improves dramatically at Oakwell I can't see a problem with them doing it. Oh, and by the way, I'm a 'panel beater'. I typically start about 10 chants a game that catch on, if we all tried that it would be a much more carnival atmosphere. There is always the East Stand Upper if the banging is not for you. With no obvious return of the Ora Band and no fat git like Leicester who is allowed a massive drum in, we have to make do. Apologies if trying to create an atmosphere is not welcome.
I like the VIVA RICARDO one a lot. One for Craigy boy then next? I say we get this carnival atmosphere back at Oakwell, boys n girls!
