It doesn't describe how days like this make you feel about football. We get a player on loan for the rest of the season and a week later he is off to a team below us in the table. Makes you wonder why bother? Might start following a Rugby club.
Would saying England got hammered in the cricket help? Not the best of days so far is it. Might inly be that one player goes but what a player to go. Don't think there woud be same concern if Leicester bid for Doyle, McEveley, Wiseman, Preece, Done, Addison....
Get used to it mate. There's going to be plenty more players leave under Hill. Many clubs in this league have plenty more spending power than us. Its just a pity we haven't been rewarded with a fee for the coaching staff's excellent work with Drinkwater.
Love BFC, hate football with a passion these days. I'm so close to just chalking **** on a game that rewards greed and selfishness, cheating and constantly pulls the rug from under honest hard work and endeavour. Money is the one and only thing that counts in this lousy modern day game.
Contracts shoulr be contracts. Loan deals should see fulfillmet, but that is in different world than football. As far as agents are concerned I'd quite happily shoot the paracitic lot.
Lets just hope nobody takes a shine to the management team,if that happens I think Barnsley as a club would disintegrate
Plenty of managers about not many decent midfielders in our price bracket...........and at some point they will move on up or be sacked , its football
a contracts a contract if the club had broken drinkwaters/mufc's contract they'd have taken us to the cleaners its all wrong. clubs like leicester who are spending more than they make because the fa have no teeth and bounce in and out of admin is a disgrace. if they don't go up this time and end up in admin they munt come to oakwell wi they're buckets
