I would have been a lot more disappointed if we'd have lost Perkins

    tbh.

I rate Drinkwater and think he is an excellent player but I think Perkins is more important to the team as a whole and more difficult to replace.

Onwards and upwards, Keith will pull a rabbit out of the, erm, hat.

In my opinion it was evident that Drinkwater was the most influential player this season and will be very difficult to replace. Him and Perkins were a great partnership but Drinkwater has been the key to our season so far!

Drinkwaters been pretty good in several games...but overall I think Perkins has made the most difference.

Like against Leeds, which was one of our best performances this season!

Blackpool, Doncaster, West Ham, 3 bad against 1 good, but if you think thats a good ratio then fair enough.

In all fairness, mate, you've never rated him

Even when he's played well. A lot like Heinz Muller!:D
By the way, I like David Perkins and (in my opinion) Heinz Muller is the best goalkeeper I've ever seen play for Barnsley. But I know nowt, so my opinion counts for even less than bugger all!:D:D

Indeed! I guess the proof will be betweem now and the end of the season. I don't doubt that we will miss him and I think he has been superb for us. I think he is much better than Perkins technically, however, I think Perkins is more important to the team at the moment. Its probably his work ethic; I have not seen a more hard working player for BFC than Perkins and I think that rubs off on the rest of the team and stops the opponent from getting a foothold in the game.

Perkins might be gash without Drinkwater.
Flip the coin - will Drinkwater be gash without Perkins? Time will tell.
