But my overriding fear is losing Hillcroft at the end of the season. Other clubs are bound to sit up and take notice of how they take players whose careers are going nowhere and get the best out of them. It's just frustrating to finally get a management team at the top of their game only to find that every player they develop will be taken away pretty quickly without us being able to do a thing about it. I'm sure our dynamic duo will pull a couple of rabbits out of the hat (loans or permanent) before 31st Jan. I just hope that by 1st Feb Vaz Te is still here.
If that happens Barnsley FC would be in meltdown, not many managers would want to work under the conditions that the present one are having to and the boardroom seem to be just a joke going by what we got for Hammill and haynes when they left.if the reports are true.
more reds fans behind the reds ,more money in the coffers, for a well run club financially,oh and that elusive euro millions win and we may have more £money to spend on players,do you know Nottingham forest manage to purchase two players based on there player .ours is now really good to watch see every game in full and pre match video interviews and post match ones and its cheap. http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/page/player/Home less than 10p a day
What absolute cobblers. As good as our management team are doing nobody is bigger than the club, and i'm sure many managers (especially those out of work) would LOVE the chance to manage a mid table championship club.
Mid table for how much longer,if the present management team left in my opinion Barnsley are only going to go one way with the set the way it is at present, that is swapping places with the Sheffield teams who although we may not like it are in a better position than us for sustaining championship football when they do get back up as they both will.
