    According to This Is Leicestershire.

While we would have emptied the coffers with a £1m bid, we would have had nothing left to offer him the wages I expect he will be on. Around 8-10k?

Nothing official yet but I expect LCFC to break it before BFC on official sites.

So total cost at say £10k pw is about £2.8mill.

We just haven't got that money.

Funny it's not been officially announced yet mind.

Yes but he is 'currently' playing for Barnsley FC so it wouldn't be wrong or an effort to just say what happens when the inevitable does happen. We may just get 'Danny played x games scoring 1 goal. We wish him well blah blah'

You having a drink with us tomorrow - where do you lot go?

Congratulations to Leicester. You just carry on....keep pissing into that big Promotion pot and hope it doesn't tip over. Your shoes might get wet. I've got Leicester and Pompey in amongst that group of clubs that could be the first to go. Unsustainable business model.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Amen. And the sooner the big benefactors pull the plug on some of the Premiership clubs the better. I'd hate to see any club go under, but football is living well beyond its means.

i think we are doing this season what everyother club is going to have to do next season or the one after: will this put us in better shape come the crunch, 'cos well have all our ducks in a row already, when the bubble bursts and teams that have gambled and spent heavily on promotion dont get it, west ham, leicester, to name 2, just think of the scum up the road i dont know, i only hope it will
