    You do not have to leave your feet to tackle, if thats what you think then you are WRONG!!!!! Tackling is not about sliding in, its about taking the ball from the opponent, sometimes a slide tackle is required, mostly not, just needing to put a foot in and not just run up and down alongside the opponent, which is what you advocate.
