A left back from Exeter, according to Paul Walker on twitter.

That would satisfy some, seeing as we would then have a team full of higher league players :D

Bloody money-bags Barnsley coming down here and nicking our best players, how are we supposed to compete with them? - I bet they're saying.

He was born 29th feb according to wiki. Does that mean he only gets a birthday every four years? Rip off! At least he has one coming up.

Exeter fan on twitter initially replied with "**** off Barnsley, you're not having Scott Golbourne" and then added "Loves to bomb forward, take people on, whips a decent cross in. A good old fashioned left back really."

Asked the fan if he was good enough for the Championship and he said "Easily. Think he'll be a Premier League player in a few years." So read into that what you will, I'm sure there will be other Exeter fans that think he's rubbish!

Scott Gollborne - what goes around, comes around. He made his full debut for Bristol City against us in 2004-5. He was at that point a very promising seventeen year-old England Youth inetrnational left back. He somehow did not fulfill his promise and went via Reading and re-surgent Wycombe to Exeter City. Although he has eight seasons of first team experience at these clubs (some with not many appearances) he is still only twenty-three (soon to be twenty-four) years old. He has the pedigree which Hillflicker can work with. Sounds like a good signing to me, especially given his pedigree, his likely lowish cost and the ability of Hillflicker to motivate. Sounds another Hillflicker 'find' of one who was a bit lost.

Just let Hill do his job. Has he let us down in the transfer market so far?

He only has 6 months left on his contract so I can see the fee being next to nothing. Should be a good signing :)

    Excellent

He's only got 6 months on his contract so we want him for next to nothing. Meanwhile in a different thread we want to sell one of players with only 6 months left on his contract for about a million and dismiss out of hand anything under half a million.

    We're a right bunch of stupid b*stards.

    Re: Excellent

Not really. I don't expect we'll get a £1m bid for Vaz Te, so I'm saying that I think it's worth more to us to keep him if we aren't going to get much for him.

As to this potential signing - many people (myself included) have long asked why we can't pick up players from teh lower leagues like other clubs seem to do. Now we finally seem to be doing that with some success folk complain about us going for lower league players! Given this lads age it would seem to be a decent signing.

The following sentences, will further add to my Pro-Keithy reputation..
I heard people saying get Clint Hill, who I think is gash. I wanted a younger, lower leaguer, like a Wiseman or McNulty. Seems I have my wish!
Thanks King Keith, you beautiful be-spectacled beast
