A lot of talk on twitter. Apparently he'd like to speak to em if given a chance. All conjecture, rumour I hope.
I would seriously lose faith if we even allowed him to talk with THAT club

 

When you say 'a lot of talk on twitter,' who is doing this talking? General chit-chat between fans, or something more concrete?

I'd be shocked personally if he was even being considered, but even more so if he actually thought about going

 

Only just got in mate, so not had chance to delve into it all. But apparently its not just idle chit chat, and Leeds related media twits have have had a say.
As I say, not been home long, and just saw the tumbling odds and a few related tweets.

Not many people will be betting... so all it takes is a couple of people to stick £20 on someone who's 16/1, 25/1 etc and they'll come right in.

 

Having had a quick look again, I think its just guesswork. Only Skybet have him that low. 25's and above everywhere else.
Time will tell, but I did find Don Rowing's showering of praise earlier for Hillcroft, a bit of a random statement. Maybe Don is worried about the Leeds link

Far be it from me to stir up the wrath of the Hillcroft Knockers, but wonder whether he might seriously consider it given the "not very warm reception" he's had from our mindless minority? Feel some on here would still be happy to see him go......and you know who you are; ie them that haven't bought into the whole "I have a plan" thing and the BFC DNA test he bangs on about.
I expect to be hammered for expressing an opinion, but I reckon this could be a factor. Ref Nicky Maynard leaving Bristol City - fans drove him away.
If Hillcroft leave under the above circumstances, I'll never forgive you. Ever. Never.

 

Get a grip man where ever he goes,and when, there will always be a percentage that dont like him.

Laying the blame at fans on an internet messageboard, how shallow do you think KH could be.

 

If he thinks he takes unnecessary stick from a very small minority at Oakwell then he would get a rude awakening at bell end road,let's not forget they are MASSIVE and deserve instant success and a big name manager.stay where you are Keith 99.9% of the fans are right behind you, you wouldn't be given 12 months at that dump and imagine the run in's he'd have with Bates!!!

if the club even allow hillcroft to speak to leeds it would make him think he's not wanted, remember holly's outburst about his wife talking to other men etc. last thing bates can afford now is to fall foul of fa rules.imo

 

Why would Keith NOT want to talk to them. Our support is dwindling, the atmosphere is absolutey *****, you can hear a pin drop most of the time, and this is the best most entertaining season we have had in years. If he goes, personally, I would put the blame squarely at our **** support. There, that ought to stir the hornets nest....

 

Why it is so quiet at home games when Hill has the support of the majority of fans is well , baffling to say the least.

Oakwell should be bouncing on Match days with what we have witnessed, at times, this season.

The atmosphere hasn't been very good obviously but I don't think Keith having repeated pops at the crowd helps anyone's cause,especially his reaction after the boro game!
It's clear he is a very good manager in the making but he needs some advice on PR,some of the stuff he comes out with is plain embarrassing!
Imagine if he was in charge at Leeds and after his second home game in charge having played like we did against boro he had the same pop at their fans,he would soon see what a negative reaction is!
