    Good.

It doesn't damage our chances of 'success' at Euro 2012 one bit. And probably saves the FA a small fortune in wages, that should be better spent elsewhere.

£6m to play 442 and pick the same players that have been picked for years. I could do that.

Steve Kean could do a better job than Capello and for a fraction of the cost

I do hope we get someone the press likes

And who doesn't upset 'the lads'

Come on Harry, there might be a 'bonus' in it for you.

    English football - what a ******* joke.

    Anyone but 'Arry.

Capello never stood a chance with the English press they along with the shambles of the FA have more or less forced him out.

True we didn't have the best world cup but neither did France or Italy.

    Games 42
    Won 28
    Drawn 8
    Lost 6

    Win % 67% hardly shabby

Exactly - England managers get stick without any consideration of what they have to pick from and how ill equipped English football and footballers are for international games.

Must only have been Capello that didn't perform at the World Cup, the superstars on the pitch must've been exemplary.

Re: I do hope we get someone the press likes

I don't think that the win % of an international manager shows anything at all. England for example play a large % of their games against none teams or teams who are average at best. I think it is how an international team does against the better teams that matters, not an overall win % against anyone.

So similar to the likes of Barca, Madrid Man Utd etc playing average teams so their managers win % should only count against teams of similar standing?

Sorry but he had to go imo. He deliberately went public with his view that the FA were wrong to dump Terry as captain, creating a power struggle at the top. However, I reckon the FA were absolutely right to pull Terry as you can't have the captain of a team that represents an organisation with a strict policy to deter racism facing a court date for rasict abuse - its just absurd. And if Capello can't see that then the FA are right to tell him to **** off.

In my, Terry should not even make the squad for the summer - he's a divisive influence. Plus he's well past his best.

He obviously thought JT was the best choice for captain, after all he's the football man not 1 wa.nker at the FA knows football, Bernstein should go next he's had his hand forced by a snotty nosed Tory over the captaincy.

Man Utd hardly ever play anyone from a league lower than their own though. The England Manager almost always plays against weaker opposition.

It'll be interesting to see who they appoint.

The F.A. themselves appeared to signify, a while back, that the next manager would be English. If they were to stick to that, then the list of potential managers doesn't appear to be very long.

Manchester United are the champions of England therefore every game they play is against weaker opposition
