    Paul Walker just tweeted:

Keith Hill on links with Leeds, " it's all speculation. I would never rule anything out but I've got a job to do here and I'm happy".

    Should we be worried?

Really really can't see it happening - BUT - To be fair, I think Keith is everything that Leeds need in a manager at the minute.......

If he thinks WE are bad, Christ help him there. They are MASSIVE. If he looks at the history books he will see that. The DEMAND to be top of teh Prem. We'd jsut be happy finishing teh second half of the season without a collapse.

Keef has done a great job. Don, its up to you to keep him here. Tell the bearded tax dodger to **** off.

Then you have Ian Appleyard's tweet from the Yorkshire Post.

See how an actual quote from Paul Walkers can be bent to give a different meaning.

    He wouldn't last 2 minutes

He'd have a nervous break down in the first week. The state he got in when a couple of people booed at Oakwell. The constant carping on about the pressure him and the players were under. He hasn't a clue what pressure is at a football club. Barnsley manager is probably the least pressured job in the top two division yet he's nearly spontaneously combusted on a number of occasions. What does he think he'd experience at Leeds? And if he thinks he could talk to their fans like he's spoken to our ours then he'd better think again. He'd have his windows put through and be chased down the street with big sticks. It would be the worst appointment in the history of football and he'd make Brian Clough's stay look positively lengthy.

    Allegedly.

Might have asked for time to think things over like he did when leaving Rochdale.......I doubt Ken will go for Keith though, Warnocks probably still on holiday I think he's still the front runner

It was 5 mins before Paul Walkers, but they'll be at the same press conference. Only Paul Walker's tweet was a quote whereas Ian Appleyard's wasn't.

If he wants to join a club with a bigger history, bigger crowds, bigger transfer budget and more ambition i'd not blame him.

    If he were to leave

I'd be very worried for our Championship status at the end of next season. Having said that, there's a few of our fans who would be pleased to see the back of him.

Re: If he were to leave

Aye it seems a shame our best season in a long time isn't get more fan backing. If he did go i'd not be worried about staying up next season though. We've had four managers since being back in the championship and not gone down yet. I don't see why this should change. Board would probably look for another cheap option manager who's hungry for the chance to manage higher up like Tisdale for example.

It is a shame gates aren't better but in teh economic circumstances we are doing ok. It could be a lot worse.

Despite his critics trying to claim otherwise

Keith Hill has had to work to a much tighter budget this season than his two immediate predecessors. It is my opinion that neither would've succeeded in maintaining our Championship status with the same financial restrictions placed upon them. As for getting another manager to do the same job on a shoestring, well they're ten-a-penny(!) I believe Keith Hill's leaving would have an adverse effect on Barnsley Football Club, you think we'd carry on as we are. C'est la vie.

He's a card isn't he. I bet he loves getting everyone's knickers in a twist.

I'm sure he's not a football manager but a comedy genius. Maybe he's Peter Kay in thin suit?

If we were in the prem the place would be full. If Hill goes I know who I will blame.

I love how the media spin it to "he expressed an interest", when it's them that brought up the subject and asked the question......most managers would say they keep their options open it doesn't mean they want it.

Although, having said that I thought Martin O'Neill's post-match interview last night was excellent, when asked about the England job he just said that Harry deserved it. He didn't actually say though that he didn't want it.

Lets be honest if someone offered you a job, closer to home, with considerably better wages, and more money to buy the tools you need to do your job better, what would you do ? and had to that it'll not be long before the people he's working for now are making a noise wanting him sacked, because it's never far away is it.

So if Leeds or any other club comes calling cause we should be worried

If there was something I could do to change it, I'd worry and then try to change it. There's no point worrying about something I can't change or influence.

I would however be very disappointed if Mr Hill left our club.
