I doubt that Leeds have a bigger transfer budget. As for history - they won absolutely nothing until the Revie era in the 70's - Deedars and Huddersfield have far more history. We've also won the FA Cup as many times as Leeds.
You reckon Leeds players are on national min wage like ours? I'm not on about how much they have won, but they have won a fair bit and played a lot in the top flight, and the champions league. If he did go nobody should hold it against him.
Re: He wouldn't last 2 minutes Lol!! I think they would chase him with pitch forks though not sticks!
If he'd been here a couple of seasons and we'd been up in a play off spot for a bit I could understand it,but he's only been here five minutes. Managers can't have it both ways, one minute they want 3 years to build a side then they sod off after 5 minutes when a bigger wad is waved at them
Mrs C has already expressed interest in the 'vacant' job at Oakwell.... And majorly qualified she is too! She's obviously used to plundering the lower leagues as illustrated by the fact that she gives me the time of day. She also has a reight eye for a bargain- I'm constantly amazed how far that woman can stretch a tenner, especially around my birthday. Summat else, that Jacob Butterfield and his lot wouldn't be quite so lippy with her as a Gaffer either. Tha gets that contract signed or there's no tea or telly! Only in an aloof Polish brogue of course.... By the Sheffield!
Just who doesnt want keith at Oakwell?????? Please make yourself known cos i dont know of any!!! People who boo at games will do that if we play kak no matter what - its the only way they know of showing they didnt like what they saw. Ask one of those that boo and i bet they say they woldnt want keith to leave. As for Keith leaving - if you do you are a hypocrite matey!! After what you have said about Vaz Tez shuffling after been given a chance you should do as you preach my friend. If he thinks he'l get more money at Leeds think again. Look at the players they have sold and what they have brought in! Nuff said.
I know a few A couple in particular who didn't want a lower league manager being appointed last summer and certainly didn't want any of the players to come from Divisions 1 & 2, either. They have then refused to acknowledge any benefits achieved by either appointing the managerial team, or their new signings. There's no doubt in my mind they're in a very small minority, but they're there nonetheless.
Re: I know a few I can't see Leeds fans taking to the signings of lower league players or Perkins etc from us
