    Yeah not very likely. If history has taught us anything it's our biggest assets (Howard, Hamill etc) are allowed to leave on the cheap, which is what will happen here with a 12 month rolling contract. Compo would be peanuts if he left.

    Ken Bates' direct reference to us and the 4-1 thrashing achieved by a squad paid 4.5M as opposed to his on 11.5M p.a. suggests he is more than a little attracted to Hill.

    As for Hill himself, why wouldn't he double his wages?

    I suspect it is the usual YP reporting.

    However, if he has genuinely staked a claim in the post I would dismiss him tomorrow if I were PC.

    If BFC can ban a Barnsley Chronicle reporter because they didn't like what he wrote then they should ban this YP reporter for asking questions that weren't to do with the club.
