    Just shows what a great all round job the pair of them are doing its a shame we can't back them a little more as fans and financially as a club.

    I can't remember it a strong link but its shows that Manager is only as good as his last few games.

    Before that, Bassett was offered the Blackburn job, but turned it down.

    This was in the play-off season, when we couldn't stop scoring.

    We sacked him probably less than a year later, and appointed Spackman. Good old Barnsley!
