I will be as constructive as I can.

We had 2 shots on goal the whole 90 minutes one of them was a fanastic 20 yard solo effort in the 2nd half from Davies that smashed back of the bar and the rebound didn't drop kindly, the other was a comfortable save from Davies in the first half...and that was it.

Of course we were already one nil down after 4 minutes through bad defending but we had a lions shre of the play right up until the final third of the field then we totally ran out of ideas. Our lions share of the ball we had was pitter patter football across the back four and out to the full backs and then back to Steele with zero penetration.

Burnley at times just ran through our midfield as if it wasn't there and despite changing this at half time we were even worse inthe 2nd hald and only rank bad fnishing from Burnley made the scorline look very flattering.

So......now here are a few moans, and as a supporter who travelled and payed £26 all the way to Burnley on a Tuesday night to watch a spinless, lifeless, unintrested out of their depth team made up mostly of Hills lower league dross I think I am justified !!

BFC did not lose tonight we basically gave Burnley (who were average at best) the game. They did not have to get out of 2nd gear.

Players all over the pitch simply lacked the quality to play in this league. We gave the ball away far to easily and far too often and the lack of service to the forwards was a joke. The midfield were a shambles. Players simply did not have the quality to make 10 yard passes.

Were was King Bobby and Foster ???

As I stared at Trippier basically ripping the fullback to pieces time and time again I thought they have Trippier and Hills has got us the likes of Dagnall who tonight was utter garbage.

Keith Hill and Flitcroft stood motionless like shop dummys for the whole of the 1st half, not once did they bark any instructions or show any emotion at all. The 2nd half Hill just sat in the dug out hidden away and that was it, he never got out once of the dug out and barked / gestured or showed any emotion, in the meantime Flitcroft continued to play sleeping lions all the second half frozen solid to the spot like an oak tree. No passion and no Plan B, no gestures, no changing the team around, nothing.........

Now call me a moaning tw*t but that performance was unacceptable, too many players do not deserve the red shirt they wore tonight.

Fingers crossed Jekyll and Hyde FC turn up against Birmingham on Tuesday, they owe us big time after that joke tonight.

I feel it's harsh to judge Dagnall but when you think we let one of the divisions top scorers go for peanuts you realise Hills doing a job with his hands tied behind his back.

Not sure if you went tonight Gordon but I can tell you it was embarrassing

Is it really that bad at the well' that we are forced to buy and play the likes of Dagnall - I'd rather him play the kids than waste time, money and contracts on lower league 'diamonds' who can't break into Scunnys first team.

No Sir Bobby and no Foster

yet he plays the likes of Dagnall and Done

you could have got 11 lads out of the stand tonight and they'd have done better.

Davies, Edwards, Steele and (gouldborne at a push) only one who should pick their wages up, the rest were spineless.

Plus Hill and Flitcroft were shot by a stun gun and didn't say or do anything all the game ???????

Dagnall and about 7 others were more than sh*te they were laughable

Done, Dagnall, McNulty, Perkins pick one of 7 mate they were dross

Sir Bobby and Foster having Fish and Chips in the dug out whilst Burnley walked through the midfield at will with a cup of tea in their hands and still made them look like men against boys.

Tonight they made the performance at Watford look like Real Madrid in comparison.

This Jekyll and Hyde BFC team is so frustrating....

At least Hills comments tonight on the BFC website at last show a bit of honesty and humility from him, if I were picking my wages up after that I'd be embarrased to do so.

    Worse than Watford?

Oh dear. When I went down there last week I was immediately taken back to the bad old days of Simon Davey...

Sack Hill!!! get him out!! Lower League rubbish!! and throw that baby out with the bathwater too!

    We're inconsistent.

Have you been paying attention regards the clubs finances? Like it or not with the budget we have there are going to be inconsistent performances.

There were inconsistent performances / lack of effort last season - there are this season. I'm more inclined to give Hill a break because of the budget he has.

Have you forgotten about O'Connor? How much did Robins pay him? How much effort did he put in?

Zero effort, can't pass the ball 3 yards + spineless - whether you are lower league

or not actually trying does not cost anything......... or should we all bow to the floor

"ALL HAIL HILL THE MESSIAH HAS KEPT US UP IN THIS DIVISION WE ALL SHOULD BE GRATEFUL - 53 POINTS IS OUR BE ALL AND END ALL YEAR IN YEAR OUT"

Inconsisntent ???? the players seem to try one week and not bothered the next ??? that is down to the manager to sort it out and watching Hill motionless for all of the game last night inspired me about as much as a dry bol of all bran, where as Burnsleys manager was up and down like a jack in the box all night with his assistants barking instructions.

Until last nights comments its Hill who was sounding like a stuck record with his holier than thou how dare you question me and my team attitude.

7 of those players running round in a Barnsley shirt last night were an embarrassemnt to the club and its supporters - if you are happy with that then you must be in cloud cuckoo land. He has replaced excellent players with lower league dross and his chicens are coming home to roost now they are being found out.

Sir Bobby and Foster playing guess who in the dug out whilst Dagnall was trying to impersonate a footballer - disgrace

I'm so glad barnsley fans aren't prone to over reaction when we win or lose.

It's a proven fact that managers who jump around on the touchline and show "passion" are 86% more likely to win football games than managers who don't.

It's about time we got Paolo Di Canio in at Oakwell. He runs around and everything.

Watch the trend on here. We lose a game and we are worse than frickley. Win and we are good enough for the play offs. We've lost 3 of our best players through sale or injury. Perhaps a little perspective and balance. The world doesn't end when a better side beats us.

Do i want us to win every game, yes. Do i expect us to win every game, no.

You lost me when you mentioned the lack of ability to pass the ball......and then

..........in the next sentence suggested that Hassell and Foster should be in the team.
Both are good defenders but neither can pass the ball.

Re: Just got back home from Burnley - I have been accused of being a moaner so.......

thanks for your views and opinions west melton, i didn't go last but i listened to it on Barnsley player and yes i agree it sounded garbage and i can understand that after paying hard earned cash out to watch such a performance your a bit balled off.

But the i disagree with a lot of the other stuff you have put, your constant bigging up of bobby Hassell for a start! look i like bobby he's been a good servant to the club and a decent fullback but for god sake man he's not the second coming and we aren't going to win games on bobby's presence alone. he's been below par in a lot of games this season and i think Hill will faze him out.

you were upset because you felt "bobby and foster were sat in the dug out eating fish and chips" well if you had been watching the reds over the last few games you would have seen that fosters not been at his best and needed a kick up the backside.

you also keep saying that the teams lower league dross and we have replaced last seasons excellent players with lower league garbage......... ok then please let me know who these excellent players are that we have failed to replace adequatley? if you mean shackell, trippier..... Gary o'connor then i think you will find that mcnulty, wiseman and Davies have all done a very good job.

The players weren't lower league dross when we beat Leeds twice, reading burnley, hull, doncaster, palace etc.

your obsession with Hill and flitcroft not running up and down the pitch going bonkers and doing a braveheart impression. ok i like to see passion in players and managers but because these two dont go barmy doesn't make them bad managers. villas boas is constantly hopping up and down on the touch line barking out instructions but does the league table show he's a good chelsea manager? alex ferguson bareley moves from his dug out but does the league say he's a good manager?

the way you have written your post gives me the impression you dont go much these days and you seem a bit bitter that robins is no longer here.

one thing i will agree with is that in the the next two home games i expect to see better reds performances and better results and then maybe you will be back on the band wagon :)
