    Chronicle journalist Andrew Harrod has posted on twitter tonight:

    "Surprising late breaking news from Barnsley FC tonight - exclusive in the Chronicle tomorrow."

    I'm praying its a new contract signed by Butterfield, but I'm sure it'll be some kind of disappointment instead!

    I think the surprising/suprosing/suprising news to come from Barnsley FC was just the fact the Cotterills middle names are George Best. How that's an exclusive, I have no idea.

    Mathew Murray just tweeted that Pompey are trying to get the game postponed due to lack of players. If that's the exclusive then they are off the boil as it was all over the net yesterday afternoon.

    You'd think so. But then you'd expect they had learnt their lesson from last time.

    Fact is they don't want to use youth players because they would rather have players available that they cannot afford to pay.
