FL in not trusting Portsmouth shocker.

I'll tell you what is ridiculous shall I Mr Appleton? Having one player on more than £30k and several others on more than £20k.

To be honest I am much more concerned about the people who wont get paid what they are owed

Not just the taxman (ie all of us) but there will be local businesses police st Johns etc etc

Mr Appleton - the reason the League are being strict on you is you have continually spent more than you can afford and so your team is in a false position, You have enough players to field a side -why should you be given special permission to bring in extra players that presumably you cant afford to pay anyway - or if you do pay them it will be at the expense of others you already owe money to?

You cant afford new players so play the kids - thats what clubs like us have had to do to avoid going into financial problems again.

Correct, but these lot have some kind of sense of entitlement. They blame teh league for what has happened with Antonov but he lied to them and if teh league had thrown up more obstacles they woudl have been raged against.

What the league shoudl do is essentially embargo this shower of **** until such time tehy stop bringing the game into disrepute.

He's still getting paid he said in the press reports at the weekend, so WBA must be paying his whole wage to give him game time.

All these players "earning" tens of thousands a week yet the ones made redundant will be the likes of the laundry staff, caterers, people who work in the ticket office and groundsmen and maintenance staff-you know, people who need jobs.
