Good to see young ens getting a chance, perfect time to try and develop a few of the promising youngsters. How did he do?
Can't believe only one comment to this thread. Was best player on park. Considering turned 17 a fortnight ago was man of match for me
Looked really good. Passed it well, got stuck in and looked comfortable. Think he could be a really good player. Nice to see him with his family/friends at bottom of Ponty at the end as well. Nice touch.
Just seen goals. Deflection as I thought then two very well taken finishes. Just wish our conversation rate was 50%+ like them. Besides King glaring miss they seemed to score with all the rest
Thought he played well. Played well but i never thought he would do anything else. Looks in front of the last good midfielder to come through the Academy Jacob Butterfield. At the same age of course. I back what i see, like i've said before i don't care what anyone else says about my judgement of a player. D/T that PE teacher can get his lads passing.
he did very well. looked confident and assured. some lovely passes. Could well have had mom on that performance. Good reception from the fans at the end of the game as well.
Probably didn't get MOTM due to him being underaged to get the champagne. Hope he starts on saturday.
mostly passed sideways to smith, wiseman or mceverley. was ok, no more. think people are getting over excited because he's come through the academy.
not being negative he did ok. if that had been someone in on loan, everyone would have said, he looked ok, nothing special.
What a load of Rubbish. he played well. couple of is balls forward where excellent. Really can't understand people saying any different. Get behind him, get behind the future.
i wouldn't object to that. played as well as smith, who also was ok. very similar, though smith passed forward more.
