    One guy says he doesn't like Barnsley because

    He's been once, it pissed it down, Megson was their manager. Eugine Dadi was playing for them and they lost, hardly our fault that.

    started taking the young un to games this season, not this 1 though, got no intrest in trying to explain why a group of people, most of whom will have no idea what the strike was about are shouting scabs at a group of people most of whom will have no idea what the strike was about

    I'm 21 and i know why they strikes took place, it affected my family greatly at the time as pretty much every man on both sides worked in pits. Although i agree that most young 'uns won't know about it all, at the end of the day i think they see it as just something to shout at the other fans to get a reaction off them

    I'd be surprised if the average person from Barnsley had no idea what the strike was about. Even the youngest fan could have had a Grandad who striked.
