    Well seen as though its in Barnsley i think it's obvious which town's heritage it is.

    Either that or put up the last few results from the Barnsley-Leeds games up next to it.......

    Theres a statue outside the NUM headquarters and a coal truck on the roundabout outside the college and various 'pit' pieces dotted around the borough. I don't like the statue thats been proposed but a bit of modern sculpture in the town centre might represent 'modern' Barnsley more than a traditional piece

    Shows what you get when someone tries to be a bit forward thinking. Or even just thinking for that matter.

    More I think about it the more I like it. Simple but effective statment. Young people moving forward, remembering the heritage that underpins their every step.
