    Hi guys

I've had the great pleasure of co-writing John Dennis' autobiography which is due to be released next week. I'm obviously biased, but it's a remarkable read and reveals so much about what went on behind the scenes at Oakwell when John was chairman.

We carried an extract in last week's Chronicle about how John squeezed Sheffield Wednesday out of £500,000 when Danny Wilson left the club - double what the club were due, and this Friday's paper will see an article about Redfearn's departure, discussing some of the demands his agent put to the club to try and get him a new contract.

The book teaches show much about the inner workings of a football club and how things really work. There's even a story in there about a time John was offered a bribe for a player.

John's account is honest. It celebrates the good times with great insight and doesn't shy away from the mistakes that were made towards the end. What I like best about John is that he's still at all home games and most away games and is a true Barnsley fan.

I'll post a link to buy the book when it's out, but here's a little glimpse in an interview I did for We Are Barnsley. Enjoy!

Tell him he should have signed Redfearn again, no matter what. He only wanted what Tinkerbell was on.

According to Redders book, it'll be interesting to read John's account. Will he be doing book signings in the club shop?

Do shareholders of BFC 1887 vintage get a free copy ?

Just wish Peter Jones was still with us to run a critical eye over the book.
