Has anybody just heard Hill's interview on Radio Sheffield?

'Barnsley is a club full of pessimism - everywhere you turn at the club there is pessimism. I'm positive and Barnsley FC won't break me.'

 

Just a shame he doesn't get his team and formation to match his personality a lately though.

I thought the fans were on song in the second half, why Hill has to give these spikey comments about our club pisses me off to be fair.

 

Keith Hill : Good football manager but talks absolute ***** at times. The first half performance was diabolical. WTF does he expect - a standing ovation at half time? Stop being so bloody sensitive Keith.

 

Also critical of message boards. Can't wait for the reaction to that one.

 

I like Keith Hill but I'm really getting fed up of his child like sulking,he needs to grow up and get a grip!If he thinks it's bad at Oakwell it will be a lot worse at other clubs.The fans demand 100% effort from the players and when they don't get it they have every right to show their disapproval and today's first half was the perfect example. Even when we lose and put 100% effort in the fans don't boo,Birmingham game for example.
I know he tries to protect the players from criticism with some of his comments but constantly having a go at the fans and now the club is only going to lead to disgruntled fans and not a positive atmosphere,it works both ways this Keith.

Best not complain about negativity and pessimistic message boards. We're from Barnsley and we'll be pessimistic if we want. Twas ever thus.

Also Preece's column in the Chron was spot on - fans influence the game.
btw today - first half we were appalling. No need to boo them though.
Second half a different team.
