So most people on here, in the stands, and on the radio say. So Benny Hill drops them both, he plays a different system, and all hell brake lose. "He's far too negative" "He got his tactic's wrong today" "He's clueless" "One up front at home is a joke" "Get big Mick at the end of the season" Its what you've been wanting all season and as soon as he dose it your still not happy, I've even seen people on here slag Perkins off, Benny is having to play 2 people in his place wile he's out to get through the work he dose on his own and people slag him off If anyone's "Clueless" "Far too negative" "Tactically Thick" its quite a few people that post on here SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST IDIOTS THAT CAN'T SEE THE WOOD FOR THE TREES
I think the problem is Davies is either played up front on his own, or out wide. Neither of which he is very good at doing; despite showing early promise of it, he doesn't seem to be good at holding the ball up or have a particularly good first touch. And as for being on the wing, his crossing his terrible. Gray for me does a job, he fills the gaps Davies leaves behind, he holds the ball up well, has a decent first touch and spreads play out wide; with the ball aimed at Gray, he can look to play to Davies's strengths. Together I think they are a decent unit, Davies has plenty of goals in him, and Gray, despite his critics, isn't too far behind him. Between them they could notch up 25 goals this season, not many clubs have 2 strikers with a goal tally in the mid 20's, especially without paying millions for them. Dagnall, I haven't seen much of him, but by all accounts, his best game was against Leicester away, where he was started from the beginning and given a fair crack at it. Maybe if he got a bit of a stretch in the team he'd find some sort of form, he could do a similar sort of job to Gray, and from when i've seen him in the past, he's reminded me a bit of Jon Macken, good work ethic, and more of a supplier than a scorer. I'm willing to give him a chance.
Re: I think the problem is Gray and Davies in a 4-4-2 works well for me.................I'm always prepared to give any REDS player a chance (in fact plenty of time/chance) but I do think Dagnall is not a Championship quality player......would be fantastic if he proved me wrong, and whilstever he is putting the effort in, he won't get knocked by me.
442 fills me with horror and not something i dont want to see. Davies isnt bad up front on his own but the balls have to be better. Tonge fired a ball at davies head from 25, thats not good. if the defence plays high hes good at with the ball over the top. hes good with ball to chest. hes good at playing wide in a three with hes better at playing on left and cutting in. got a good 20 yard plus shot.
