horse has bolted with regards matchday prices. too many pay on the day customers are convinced it's £30 every game.
next season get rid of that 1912 card gimmick, make it £20 every game and advertise the hell out of it.

Agree most of that but I think £23 to £25 would be bearable. Who ever had the Cat system idea should be given their P45.

Got 2 family members coming over that weekend in the past have paid up to £20 each for their tickets not this time though the club dont accomodate one offs and £20 a ticket is my limit.

With that game and the Leeds game the club could have had another £70/80 off me this season for folks that aren`t really football fans. I am sure there are others out there in a similar position.

Scrap the 1912 card and the categories and have a reasonable set price and if that means watching lesser players or the same players on lower wages then so be it.

The 1912 card allows us to charge away fans more for when we have been fleeced. Eg Leeds away. If it was £20, £25, or £30 they would still come a full what we have so we might as well maximise that.

Could have had East stand and West stand cheap and Ponty £30 like for like with away fans, so no need for1912 card.

But the Ponty End is where the loudest support usually goes and behind the nets is usually cheaper than down the sides.

Local rivalry, always going to attract a bigger crowd plus there will have been a number of "Leeds" fans in home areas too.

Bit of an unfair comparison, but you do have a point. It's been proven that there isn't a significant increase in attendances when the club lowers prices, so they're simply losing money. However they should advertise ticket prices more, get somebody stood in tarn centre handing out leaflets, there's hundreds of potential customers they could entise on the off chance. Or at least offer them a £5 discount with a flyer, makes people think they're saving something.

There just isn't enough one off punters to cover the loss in income.

Are you sure ? My daughter Kate and her Man U fan boyfriend went to the Burnley game on boxing day because I said I'd pay. I didn't realise it would cost me £60, but a promise is a promise. There's more games they would have gone to if it was £20 a ticket. I'm sorry but £20 is more than plenty in my opinion.

We are fleecing our own fans too. We only have to charge in the Ponte End the same as the away fans are charged in the North Stand. Yet for some reason we still charge same in West/East when we don't have to.

That's four then! Two of which still came.

Don't get me wrong, £30 is too much, but we are where we are.
