    Wylde shows promise, he could fit in, but I also suspect other clubs will be sniffing around him. The fact he has taken no redundancy suggests he has something lined up imho.

    I recently heard about how much someone who earns high 5 figures/ low 6 figures would get and it's mind blowing.

    Was told the person wouldn't need to work again.

    They have a contract and the club have a duty to for fill it.

    The figure Conan thats in the persons contract is amazing.

    My place gets one month's gross salary per year of service upto 5 years along with 3 months PILON.

    Sure there are a lot of places that offer VR at a similar rate.

    I suppose it's a bit of a boost in contract negotiations when you turn a contract down that's 50% more than your current wage plus.

    Anyway the point was, Footballers aren't the only people to have very good contract terms.

    And what about the contracts these clubs have with local suppliers? Companies that probably rely on the income suppling the football club but end up getting nothing? Do you know how many companies went out of business last time Portsmouth went into admin?
    What about how much tax these clubs own, which they arrange to pay a fraction of, which rips off every single one of us?

    I'm not happy about Portsmouth but that's got to be the owner and the board members not the the players have coaches.

    All the Portsmouth players have done his sign a agreed contract and when the club's in trouble take nothing in terms of wages.
    HElp in shop/ ticket office to try and keep the club going and moral high.

    People always pick out the highest figures.
    Thats why i have recently started to pick figures of decent earners and compare things a little.

    I'd be surprised if there were any professional footballers in this country on £27,000. I bet the average is three times that in League One.
