    Might have been posted last week but if not

    Ryan Giggs with over 900 appearences has appeared in more Premiership games than Manchester City

    Very good.....except aren't they 900 career appearances, not just in the Premier? His Premier league record is something like 588, not sure how Man City's matches that though.


    Update - Man City have 15 seasons in Premier so thats 570 games (at end of this season), so he just pips them!

    Beat me to it! Was going to say I don't think there has even been 900 Premier League games, must be about 750. Plus, haven't Man City palyed 15 seasons plus this year, taking their tally to 597?

    I don't know why I'm being needlessly pedantic, I do apologise

    Well Wikipedia says he's played 632 league games but 40 were prior to 92/93 so I have him at 592 PL appearances, meaning Man City snatch it by 5. However, at the start of the season Giggs would have played more (573) than Man City (570).
