    ...........in my opinion

Height, power, good motor, hungry for the ball and can pass the ball.........would like to see him charging into the middle to get a few goals.

If he did this we have got one hell of a player here.

Prediction..........Hirsty played for England and would have played more if he wasn't injured so many times.
Digby................will play for a top Premeirship club and may get into the England team

It shows a lack of confidence from you in the player to assume he would burn out. Maybe his energy levels are better than you give him credit for. Playing him the odd game here and there isn't getting him used to regular first team football. Play him a few games in a row then if he starts to show signs of tired THEN take him out of the team.

    Better than Carl Tiler..........YES !!!

Because of one thing..............Digby is improving year after year after year

He's younger than some of the other bright prospects (e.g. Lasurus) at Barnsley but he has overtaken them with his rapid progress.

Mark my words..........if he keeps going like this then we have a great player......in the Brian Robson mold.

How long did it take Butters to show what he is capable of? Butters has only impressed over this last 6 months..........and he's 21 years old now
    Digby is just 17

Jake made his debut at 17 at Wembley did he not? He was certainly involved by Davey. And scored the equaliser at Swilsbro.
But Simon left, and Mark Robins ignored him for 18 months. But last year, he broke through and blossomed with games.
Bl00dy bewilders me how folk think he only had a good 4 month. He has had a better 4 month then at 21, than any other kid in a long time at Oakwell. But no, after 2 and a half games Digby is the best ever. I repeat - build em up to knock em darn

He will prove to be a quality player, of that there is no doubt. We do however have a secret weapon waiting to pounce.... Danny Rose.. take a bow son!!! He will one day be a hero. seen him since he was 12. mmw

    FFS Whitey........Whos knocking Butters...............????????.........!!!!!!!!!!

A BIG BIG BIG problem on here is that people read something...........but dont actually read the words..........they read what they want to see.

    EXAMPLE..............Whitey

Butters is one of the best players the club has produced since I've been watching the club. He wern't that good last season (but neither were players such as O'Brien)..........or have we already forgotten ??? !!!

There was talent already there in Butters but Keeflicker has brought him on and now he is an excellent player THE BEST AT THE CLUB.
However, Digby is just 17................if you compare players at just 17 then Digby is far the better player.....only being proceeded by the GREAT GREAT David Hirst
