http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...d-Baddiel-debate-over-crying-at-football.html Any of you ever cried at football? Is it OK to cry over a sport? I've never cried at football but came close when we beat Bradford, won last minute at Anfield and got promoted at the Millenium Stadium.
I filled up when we got to the Premiership and often do at minutes silence. As for crying because your team lost, I don't take a result that seriously.
I think if you've been following a club for years and years, then you get promoted its understandable. But crying cause you're losing to Swansea is fu.king tragic.
I felt like crying when Special Kay missed that one on one against Cardiff. Instead I went incandescant with rage. I don't think I've truly got over that.
Never to the extreme as seen on telly, but welled up at Filbert Street when relegated (aged 17) and at Wembley play-off final defeat (aged 19). Just told my Dad to head off I'd see him on the coach in a bit when I'd calmed down! More stunned when got relegated by Norwich
Same here. I cried when we got promoted to the Prem I think, just a little tear and me and me dad had an emotional moment when we got back to this division.
Had tears in my eyes twice End of the Bradford match and the infamous Willard Liverpool game when there was a very real danger of me actually exploding.
Cardiff. And on blower wi mi Dad after we beat Chelsea where I seem to recall I said: 'we've f.cking done it fatha, we've f.cking done it' repeatedly for abart 5 minutes.
Re: Had tears in my eyes twice Got emotional after the Bradford game, didn't cry though. Worst I've felt at a game, for being completely dejected was the Norwich home game when we got relegated, I was just slumped in my seat for about 10 mins, not crying but just trying to take it in, I felt numb.
Re: Had tears in my eyes twice if keefy dunt get his act together you might be doin it again come on keefy get em going ffs
Re: Had tears in my eyes twice That Norwich game, christ, just so so empty afterwards. Alaways remember the Ora band came back. I don't think many were impressed with that one.
Re: Had tears in my eyes twice Had tears in my eyes after the Cardiff play off final but my son was only a week old and the emotion got to me.
I remember jumping up and down celebrating one minute as it was announced we'd got into the play offs, then a rather coy announcement was made saying it was no longer the case. I sat down on the terrace and cried my eyes out!
