Liverpools drunk fans to blame. About time this case was put to sleep and the Liverpool fans were seen for what they really are - Murderers.
Exactly. I have every sympathy for the fans who died at Hillsbrough but the Liverpool fans try to come across as martyrs.

Drunk or sober u dont expect to goto a football match and come back in coffin... U wouldnt expect it in a pub if u were Drunk never mind a cup semi final with hundreds of police and safety stewards there
Do you not place any blame on the inadequacies of some of the senior Police giving orders on that day??
If they hadnt opened the gates, which led to the crushing inside the stadium, then there would have been crushing on the outside of the ground. It was a situation were they couldnt win and the people fighting to get in to the stadium should have taken a look at themselves and realised what was going to happen.
It does seem a rather random posting designed to provoke a lot of argument as this subject has been covered in depth on here. As with most incidents like this, it was a number of contributory factors that led to the overall disaster....one of those factors, and I'm not saying it was the main one, was the drunk fans turning up without tickets trying to force their way in, and until Liverpool accept that some semblance of blame lays with them I have little sympathy to this so-called fight for justice. It's not justice they want, it's a witch hunt.
I was there that day my friend, not the best thing i have ever witnessed but the people blaming just the police are wrong.
I don't think anybody can be right when it comes to pin pointing exactly what caused the tragedy as like Eaststander said it was a whole host of factors that contributed. As you said I don't know how some people can live with their actions on that day. By that though I would include the likes of Duckinfield aswell as some of the fans.
In my opinion you should be arrested for perpetuating this lie You're up there with the holocaust deniers. It wouldn't be that bad if what actually happened wasn't in the public domain, but it is, it's all available, all you've got to do is read it.
