Arsenal did well against milan and should have scored again atleast.
and look at the record of the prem over last few years. fulham and liverpool semi or final if uefa league. Liverpool have got to a final and won champ league in last 7 years, manchester united 3 finals and won once and chelsea have got to a final.
Also the premier league have the higher coefficient with spain and germany next season. TBH if people are questioning the prem then i wiuld question the german league the most. Bayern are good but for most of the match in midweek basel wern't at it and look a different tean to the one that played manchester united. Also along with Inter the english 3 are in change and that will affect the teams like it did with madrid and ac milan ect.

Didn't I explain the fundamental flaws in the coefficient ranking system last time that you did this? I thought I quite clearly explained why we have a lot of teams who do well in Europe.

If your mum gives you 1 lottery ticket you probably wont win owt. If she gives you 1 million tickets I reckon you'll win a fair amount of money.

doesnt matter, how many semis have spain had? barca have been only one over last 6 years apart from last year. Look at germany 3 teams thia year but only bayern through again. Other 2 really weren't that good and they are meant to be at there peak. Look at the german club at barca, english teams never let 5 plus in against them. arsenal/ man u/ chelsea have beat them or come close in recent years.

 

And we have shitloads of money to pay for mediocre players. Wahey. Let's celebrate.

players in spain ect will earn a lot more than in england.
A player paid 200k would have 100k in bank in engkand while in spain it would be over 150k

 

They still earn the same regardless of tax rates if their top line is £200k per week

I say we have shitloads of money to pay for mediocre players. That still stands whether they're earning more or less than in Spain. And not many English players are good enough for Spain anyway. If they were, they'd be playing there. So I repeat, mediocre and overpaid.

 

Can you just confirm that is the same bundesliga that put as many teams into the round of16. The same bundesliga that has two more teams in the quarter finals of the Europa league than the epl.
The same bundesliga that has done so without spending anywhere close to the amount wasted in England

 

Most english players wouldnt move over there.
Lanpard, ashley cole and Gerrard have all been wanted and non of them have gone.
Ashley Coles done madrid in over last 2 summers which means they have a major weakness at left back.

 

Look at England, 4 teams this year and only Chelsea through.
