Re: Keep the faith son But it's Keef that's realised he's signed a dud. He knows deep down the criticism is fair.
Re: Keep the faith son Don't think you can class any one a dud after 8 weeks. That's my point. He's not been great or shown much. But to call him a waste of space, want us to flog him etc is a bit weird.
Re: Keep the faith son Serious question - is he there to gain match fitness/sharpness/confidence or is it with a view to a permanent?
Re: Keep the faith son I think it'll be to get him out of the way for 2 months and bring him back for pre-season.
Re: Keep the faith son I agree Just seems a bit drastic to me - the best way to learn to cope with the Championship is to play in the Championship.
Re: Keep the faith son I agree. You never know, but I can't see him getting shut. I hope not 'cos I'll look a right w anker
Re: Keep the faith son You get rid - only option. Question is how long do you give someone? I agree with Dyson that eight games is not really enough but he hasn't shown any evidence that he will come good.
Re: Keep the faith son I think Keith wants him to play some games to sharpen up his match fitness, but without any risk to Barnsley. Get the feeling Keith thinks we need a couple of wins to make sure of safety, and doesn't want to be carrying any players in the run in. Makes sense to me this move. Dagnall will come back for pre-season and have a good run at it, hopefully proving the doubters wrong - or ultimately being shipped off back to Bradford!
KHills been smart here. hes sent him away for game time and he'll be back bigger and better in pre season.
