thereev didn't post on here cos believe it or not i was gutted by the last minute crippler. I needed to chill overnight to reflect on the situation. However on reflection i can honestly say that any manager in any league would probably get the boot with the run of form Keefy has us on now. If we stay up its probably only cos the Pikeys and two others may actually be marginally worse than us, which must mean they are in a desperate state. To the keefy worshippers:- how the hell can you say he is doing a good job............results are mirroring the quality he has brought to the club........ garbage. Honest pro's they may be but that ain't enough clearly cos we KEEP losing. You must be wearing blinkers if you think Keefy is god....... time after time he keeps recruitng garbage. He may have money constraints so why doesn't he bring one or two good uns in instead of eight or nine pub team players. Saturdays game is the match of the season and we must get at least a draw. We are currently in a right state and no one can say this is not Keefy's own team........ what an absolute shambles. this won't to many Keefy worshippers, but i hope it helps
What part of the financial position don't you understand? We can't bring one or two good uns in because their wage demands exceed our ability to pay.
Rather than saying 'Keefy Worshippers', why not change our group name? I'd suggest 'The people who are equally as frustrated with things at Oakwell at the moment, but have a much better grip on reality and can see that changing the manager will in no way solve the problem of not having any money and our best players always being sold, so don't see the point in whining about how he is killing our club and all the rest of the rubbish spouted on here every time we lose a game'. Not as catchy, like.
well it must cost to bring all the garbage he has brought in.....they don't come for nowt do they? nine rubbish uns must be the same as one or two decent players..................... it's not hard....write it down if you don't get it. hth
I think Keef is the best manager we will get and will get us moving in the right direction. Any manager would struggle with our budget but to add to that the loss of key players and its no surprise we are struggling. Keef deserves at least another season and should be backed 100% by the club and the fans; sadly this isn't happening and doesnt look like its going to happen. I can see the positives with him and not just the negatives so if that makes me a keef worshipper then fine, I dont care.
I honestly don't know why I'm wasting time responding to you. I'll try again. If we wanted to sign for example Paul McShane, he was on £27k a week at Hull. We can't afford that. No matter how many other players we DON'T sign. We also need more than 11 players available. If you can guarantee me a manager will come in and make us win all of teh remaining fixtures then go ahead lets bring him in. I'm not saying Hill hasn't made mistakes, he has and continues to do so IMHO, like Davies on the wing but given what we know about the club, its a miracle we can get any manager to come.
With the addition of 'Keep the faith!', that sums up my thoughts entirely. Thanks mate. Some of the whiners on here must be real hell to live with.
why.........do we only pay the minimum wage......get real ... most people would love a job like Keefy's .......the problem is football people are pampered spoilt cry babys who think they have it tough. .......ffs get real....try telling that to people with genuinely tough jobs. hth
It is nothing to do with peopel with tough jobs. I'd say that being the manager of any league club is tough. It is mentally tough certainly. Most peopel woudl love his job on teh face of it. But lets "get real" how many coudl do it? Not many I'd say. Also, in the summer, it seemed we weren't exactly deluged with applicants. When I say its a miracle, I mean given the reputation "we" must have in the game when it comes to chopping managers. Like Ritche and Robins. Sacked because it didn't suit.
i hope we win soon....i am running out of daft names to call em. maybe we could go to the 'Under 7's Non Alcholic Dog and Duck' update? hth
Satdi's game , at least a DRAW???..no mate its a must win for me we have IMHO two games that we could make summat off Saturday Vs Peterboro and away at Bristol all the rest you can forget about.......we might just get summat last match Vs Brighton as they will have nowt to play for.
Re: Satdi's game , at least a DRAW???..no mate its a must win for me 4 games ago....someone posted a 'how many more points will we get' thread thereev predicted 6 points more and also predicted the last four defeats...............i hope i am correct cos i predicted a win against Peterborough....and i do reckon that could see us safe...just.
Re: Satdi's game , at least a DRAW???..no mate its a must win for me as optimistic as i have been throughout the season i am now genuinely strugglin to see another win this season, the sheer lack of opportunities we are creating does not give hope for any victories
