yet another player leaving who has Championship experience. Foster will also be let go at the end of the season. What is Keith Hill trying to achieve? Is he hoping if we have a squad made up of lower league tripe if he keeps us up then he should be worshipped as a messiah? I was a big believer in Keith Hill and his backroom team when they arrived and fetched a few lower league bargains but his philosophy of building the squad entirely on lower league players is a major worry for the future of this football club. Already we are losing fans by the thousands, next season could be 2 thousand more off.
You have a link mate? Not a massive loss anyway imo. Has been a good servant but for me doesn't have enough quality. Would be very surprised if another Championship club came in for him in the summer. League 1 bound
You just can't see beyond the manager can you? Where is the money coming from to keep "Championship standard" players here? Hill was brought it with a brief to reduce the wage bill to a level that woudl be self sustaining. I.E. Not relying on Patrick Cryne every season. And it is McEveley going? Ae uyu really that bothered? If he was THAT good, surely a club in this league would have come in for him? He's been on the transfer list for months!
How do you know he's building a team of lower league gems. None of us know what the summer transfer window will bring, but with JB off and hopefully a fee will be agreed up front rather than going to tribunal Hill will have a decent wedge to play with in the summer.
im willing to bet you whatever you want that we dont purchase any player with at least 4 seasons in this division or above
I've more faith in the Tribunal than our Board and their 'negotiating' skills. Significant six figure sum anyone?
Tell your dad I thought he was great - first time round - not so good when he came back. No 10 - Red-hot Currie.
Re: Tell your dad im forever teasing him about that, he says it was Brian Clough who ruined his confidence. My dad will never forget scoring in his debut (2nd time around) against Ipswich.
we're skint ya silly *******, we have to run on the money coming into the club, and the not selling enough tickets to keep big eraners, is it really too hard for you to understand ?
as ive already said on numerous occasions now, the club need to invest some money to attract the fans back. Or is the owner skint? And calling me a silly *******, keyboard warrior sporings to mind!
The owner has other things on his mind. Not that he should not be trying to move the club on though....
I dont think you're actually that bothered about Jay Mac leaving but you're just using it as an opportunity to have a go at Hill. You keep having a go at him and the players he is signing but you dont actually mention how he is supposed to change things with the budget he has.
May as well be because.......... he's said he's not funding the club any more, it as to run on the money it generates only, Now read it again and again until it sinks in you fecking idiot,
are you also steve fosters agent too then? oh i forgot the fans decide who the manager lets go and who gets a new contract... silly me
If releasing two ultimately average players convinces 2,000 people not to bother anymore, then good riddance to them.
Don't ya think that if the 2,000 go, then the imports on League One wages will eventually have to be sold in favour of League Two dross? As I said 15 months ago, this club is going nowhere!
If you're complaining about the fact we're letting Jay McEveley leave you belong in a mental institution.
If Foster goes would he be a loss? He's been part of a negative goal difference and average at best defence now for many seasons. It's time to freshen things up. Also why you assuming him being let go would mean another lower league player being brought in? Maybe if our big earners are released in the summer we will finally have some cash to bring in championship experience to replace Foster, Jay Mac and Doyle.
