The only thing about the German purity laws,(reinheitsgebot)is that some German brewers interpret the law
to use things that any decent brewer would not wish to use,the argument being that they are not carried through to the
glass.....fast and loose springs to mind

i'm not a sheep hemsy lad, the teams been *****, so that's the opinion i gave. yesterday 11 of them were fantastic, 1 was a complete moron. why they can't put that effort in every week i don't know. maybe it was the sending off that galvanised them as a team. the 1 thing i would say, is that before the sending off, we looked very good playing 2 up front, but probably a 1 off, which is a shame.

Don't go in there again then.....go to where you can get your fosters!

And you didn't "have" to get Leffe blonde (I can see why someone that drink fosters might be shocked with something with flavour like that!) as they have other lagers there as well.

As for people talking.....yes, it's dreadful in a pub isn't it? Be much better with really load music so people stood around not talking!

If they don't offer what he wants then it makes sense for him not to go in again - simple isn't it?

If your mates are in Walkabout and you're in the 7 I'm not surprised you couldn't hear them.

    Typical Hemmsy argument ;)

He tries one drink out of a selection of many and decrees the pub only sells rubbish even though the popularity of the place would tell anyone capable of logical thought that this cannot actually be the case.

I like the odd ale and beglium/german lagers although I probably drink more of the british brewed "crap" than anyting else. One lager I certainly avoid at all costs is Fosers though. Eurgh...

I don't know why people rave about German biers. Becks and Warsteiner are just mass produced crap that we get slated for in this country.

People raving about German beers are usually talking about Veltins, Hacker Pschorr, Sparten, Schneider Weisse, etc, etc,

They are very rarely talking about Becks!
